LPC Associate
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, I moved to Austin in the summer of 2021. I originally began to pursue a career in counseling after realizing the most enjoyable parts of my work at the University of Virginia centered around connecting with people and being present in moments of stress. I love running and biking around Austin with friends, good conversation, and front porch hangs with my husband. I hold a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the Seminary of the Southwest here in Austin.
I believe the chance to create a warm, calm, and comforting space for clients to feel truly welcome to work through life’s stressors, anxieties, and fears is a great privilege and responsibility. I believe we are all wired for relationship and always capable of change. I work primarily with individuals to work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity, trauma, and understanding one’s family of origin. My counseling methods are grounded in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am energized by seeing clients move toward deeper relational connectedness, creativity, and a confident, flourishing version of themselves that brings them closer to who they were created to be and in turn allows them to be present to their life and goals. I can’t wait to meet you! If you’re curious about how we might fit, I’d love to connect over a free consultation call.
