About me...

I attended the University of Texas at Austin for my bachelor's degree, where I was a Chi Omega and served in college leadership with YoungLife. I returned to UT Austin to complete my graduate training in clinical counseling, where I received my Masters degree from the Department of Educational Psychology. I work with adult individuals and couples in therapy, including premarital counseling. I specialize in relational dissatisfaction, broken or conflictual relationships, and intergenerational family trauma. I enjoy working with clients on counseling goals related to breaking patterns, development of identity; purpose, relational conflict; communication, life transitions, spiritual growth, issues related to self-worth, forgiveness, shame, and grief; loss. I also have experience working with depression, anxiety, conflict resolution and divorce.

I am trained in Bowen Family Systems therapy. Working from a family systems perspective, I support you in exploring how past relationships and experiences influence your current relational patterns or existing troubles. I then work with you to process any pain, related fears, and anxiety in order to define values, identify options, and create new patterns to function as an individual and relate to others in ways that align with your goals. I invite you into the therapy process, to build both awareness and skills that will equip you to work towards your current goals as well as address future challenges.

Many factors in life can influence people to feel powerless, hopeless. We all experience pain, frustration, fear, loss, dissatisfaction, disappointment, and feelings of hopelessness throughout life. When we do, help is available. I would love to walk with you toward growth, healing, and hope. If you have questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please reach out!
