MA, LPC Associate
Born and raised in Austin, I have been a longhorn all my life and attended the University of Texas for both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I majored in special education in undergrad and went on to teach special education for seven years. Ultimately, my passion for connecting with and supporting the mental wellbeing of my students, their families, and the people in my life led me to pursue my master’s in educational psychology with a specialization in counselor education.
My counseling approach is client-centered, collaborative, and compassionate. We will work together to identify your therapy goals and the therapeutic approach that will best fit your needs. I am experienced in working with people with anxiety, depression, life-transitions, identity crises, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and many other life stressors. I have training in trauma-informed care and will help you find hope, learn to cope, and build resilience.
I am available to meet with individual clients and couples. I know it takes courage to take the first step in seeking counseling and would love to connect with you for a free consultation to see how I might be able to support you.
